Halloween costumes...

We dressed up for Halloween this year...for the FIRST time. Yes, it was planned only 3 hours before our ward party...but we did it! It was even Mike's idea, which was very surprising coming from a guy who has zero excitement for Halloween. We were inspired by Jim from The Office... we are a pair of dice! I think that was fitting since we live in Las Vegas. So, here is the costume. We even had dots on the back.
That's our new bishop (Mike's golfing buddy) peeking behind us. haha.
I left this bowl outside my house for the kids in the neighborhood. When I came back, it was still totally full :( I guess we didn't have ANY trick-of-treaters. How sad.

You guys look awesome! I bet it was a hit. That's sad that no one came trick-or-treating...I bet they will at your new house!!!

How sad that those big candy bars didn't make it into any little trick-or-treaters' bags! Hope they find a good home, though! YOU TWO look great! As a pair of dice (or "paradise," get it?) you confirm the thought that you are indeed, a lucky couple!

I love the dice and think it is very fitting, but I am wondering why none of the Rose boys are fans of Halloween.

You guys are so cute! I love the costumes! That's sad about no trick or treaters. I thought you were going to say you came home and all the candy was gone! Oh well, next year in your new house I'm sure you'll get some!

That's my idea of a Halloween costume; fast, easy and cheap!! I love it. You guys look great.

That's so cute! And you really must not have had any trick or treaters. Considering you just left a bowl outside, I'd think the first one to come by would have taken the whole thing! Well..if they are like Lee in any way at all.

Very creative guys, especially with the Vegas thing and all! You are certainly winners! All of the kids are very impressed! Glad you're having fun. Love you!

P.S. Nobody came trick or treating at our house either so don't feel bad. My girls said they would have come to your house for sure, and not just because you had great candy.

Awww cute costumes guys! I love that it was Office-inspired! Do you love season 4 or what? I'm not superstitious....but I am a little stitious :)

Clever, clever costumes! Don't worry about the candy -- I ate enough when I VISITED this weekend. *fond sigh of remembrance*

You are the best pair of dice, and the best pair of people. LOVE YOU. Thanks for world's best bday!

So, we have to agree that the dice idea is definitely one of the most creative yet most simple ideas I've ever seen...major props. We're also happy that you've publicly acknowledged that we are your best friends by putting us at the top of your friends list. Others may say that it is only because the list is alphabatized but we know the truth...you guys are great! Chao!
