'Tis the Season...

Hooray, December is finally here...and along with that comes fun decorations, gift giving, and lots of fun Christmas activities. This year we opted NOT to buy a big Christmas tree and just re-use the one we already have...which is 1 ft tall. To make up for it, Mike and I made a gingerbread house this weekend. Well, I'm not going to lie..."made", as in, bought the kit for $8 at Target. It was the best $8 I ever spent though. As usual, Mike did the decorating and made me do the frosting so his hands wouldn't get messy. haha.

So...here is the Rose household, all Christmas-ed out. Enjoy!

The lovely gingerbread house, designed by Mike. This year, he intentionally DIDN'T do a pattern on the roof. We think it looks pretty "modern, sophisticated, and sleek."The lovely Christmas tree! we put ALL our ornaments on the tree, hopefully it doesn't topple over from the weight. The mantle is decorated and the top of our entertainment center.

YEAH for Christmas!

You are so FESTIVE! You look like a couple of Santa's helpers in your hats. It makes me feel all Christmas-y just looking at you. Love the manger scene, and the tree is right out of "Charlie Brown's Christmas." Yes, the gingerbread roof decor is very avant-garde. I knew Mike had an artistic bent.

Hooray for Christmas! I think the 1 ft tree is perfect :). Plus, when you have a bigger tree, you also need more ornaments, and they are totally expensive!! I love that Mike decorated the gingerbread house...and I love the roof! It reminds me of splatter paint :).

Is that a PINK santa hat? You just can't help but be foxy no matter what! ha ha!

We are going to Houston for Christmas to answer the hill family question.

About the PINK santa hat: my coworker gave it to me to borrow and it's from...Victoria Secret! So, that's why it's so foxy. haha.

I remember that tree! Between that tree and our goofy window signs, our dorm room glowed with Christmas spirit! I'm happy to see it is still spreading Christmas cheer!

You decorate so cute! Your apartment looks so nice and seasonly appropriate!

On my blog click on the side where it says Blog Redesign and that is where the instructions to redo your blog are. They are a little overwhelming at first but it is really not that bad once you get started. Hope that helps

Thanks for the holiday tour! Robert and Seth have been wearing their Santa hats around, too. Seth calls it his "Christmas Night Cap." Sure, Seth, whatev'!

I would add "purposeful, eclectic, and inspiring" to the description of your G House.

Merry Christmas!
