Big Day

Well, today is the day. I thought it would never come, but it has! Tonight I go in to the hospital to get induced and will have the baby sometime tomorrow.

There is no crazier feeling than knowing you are about to experience the most exciting, difficult, emotional and important moment in your life...all in the next day. I'm feeling confident and ready (well, as ready as you can feel which isn't very much).

Mike and I are excited to welcome little Colton into the world. I hope he gets here safely and without TOO much trouble for mom :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh! It's here!

Well it went really fast for us, but of course we're not just sitting around pregnant waiting for a baby to come :).

This is like the ultimate slow peeling off of a band-aid, where you sit and stare at it for hours first wondering how painful it will be.

With Bennett our experience was similar where we knew it was the day and drove to the hospital, checked in, and said "okay I guess this is it." It is definitely a wild feeling. But it's nice in many ways. Be sure to bring things to do while your body is getting warmed up and before the pain hits. You may have lots of down time.

GOOD LUCK YOU GUYS!

so excited for u guys....angela, my only advice is GET THE EPIDURAL EARLY!

Take LOTS of pics. For me, the whole experience was so fast, painful and surreal, I was grateful for the pictures bc I didn't remember a lot of it.

Oh Ang! I am so excited for you. I was thinking about you last night and what a crazy time it must be for you. I can't imagine knowing you are about to give birth. That is so exciting. Good luck tonight and keep us updated. We want to come see you when Colton is here, but I don't want to intrude. Let us know what you want us to do! Keep us updated! (I have texting on my phone finally)

We will definitely keep you and little Colton in our prayers tonight! Here's to a fast and easy delivery! Love ya!

Good luck Angela! You will do great. We are excited that the day is finally here. Make sure you eat before you go in- I was too nervous to eat before I was induced and 18 hours later I was starving. I was almost as excited to see those crackers as I was to see Annie. :)

I'm feeling nervous, excited, and emotional and I'm just the mother in law. It may not have seemed like a long time for Greg, but it did seem like a long time to me. I can hardly wait. Mike better be fully informed on how to use the camera and then put those pics on the computer right away. We'll be anxiously waiting. Here's to a quick and painless as possible delivery!

Good Luck!! How crazy that you're going to have a little one in just hours?! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Colton's head really isn't as gargantuan as the doctor was saying : ).

Good luck Angela! You will be in our prayers tonight. There are few times in life when I've experienced pure magic. The birth of my babies are them. Those few days in the hospital are a painful, crazy blur, but the most magical days of your life. I would go through my labors again in a heartbeat just for the two days that followed. Enjoy!

How am I supposed to be doing normal ordinary everyday things when you are experiencing one of life's greatest moments. We love you and can't wait for Colton to be here...just a few more hours I think!
