The Unveiling

...of the baby room!
I think it's done. Mike did a great job installing the chair rail and painting (thanks for the help Aaron) and then we just decorated with the blue, brown and a little burnt orange.

Enjoy! --I feel bad for my next children since they will not get this kind of attention. haha.
This is the view from the doorway
A view looking from the chair out into our upstairs
These are my favorite parts of the room. I wanted some cute accents, so I painted these little wooden figures from Michaels. I'll fill the frames once I have some cute pictures of Colton!
My random cars are ALSO a favorite of the room. I got this from Home Goods and LOVE it. I also painted that little airplane that is in the bear's lap.

Too cute! He will love his room. If only they would always look that organized as the kids got older! Good luck with the remainder of your "nesting" projects.

It looks awesome. I love the little toys that you painted. I LOVE that car and the little Texas star on the wall. Now all we need is Colton.

It's fabulous!!! I'm really in love with it. I wish I had ever gotten the chance to do a super cute baby room. Looks right out of a catalog.

This looks fabulous! You two could get second jobs as interior decorators! Truly, it's beautiful. And it feels cozy and restful, too. I've always had fun preparing a nest for the new baby...even when it was just a corner of a room. You had your own room,in a new house, done in Beatrix Potter, but I don't suppose you remember that. Did I see a kangaroo on a shelf?

P.S. I LOVE the curtains!

That is so perfect! I love it when nurseries for boys feel like they are actually made for boys. I love the colors too, great job to both of you:) I'm sure you'll be spending many nights in there, we are so excited for your little boy to come in a few weeks!

It looks so cute! You are all ready! I loved sitting in Peyton's room before he was born thinking about what it would be like to have him...enjoy the quietness of that room :)

Wow! I think this room should be in a decorating magazine or something. It looks great. I also recognized the little kangaroo on the shelf--cute memories with that. Grandpa will be excited about the antique car accents. Looks like you are all ready! Love you!

You can't ever have another child because you will never be able to match this room's cuteness.
And I have to ask, YOU PAINT?
Everything is so cute, Ang! I thought the room was cute when Bree slept in it, but NOW it is READY.
