ohmygosh he is so stinking cute!!! We def. need to get together! Im home all day also! We live off of Decatur so we are pretty close! my number is 812 344 8449 just so you have it! :)
He is adorable! Cute pictures! Just put him down when he seems tired. If it happens to be later than you want, gradually work him up 15 min earlier until he's at the time you want him to be. Like with Lilly she would want to sleep around 8:30 or 9 so I started putting her down between 8:15 and 8:45 then worked her up to 7 or 7:30. It's WAY nice to have them go to bed early so you can have some free time before bed!
Angela, this baby is truly cute! The cheeks! The hair! The eyes! I have no advice whatsoever on getting kids to bed. I failed miserably at it five times. Sleep remains a mysterious and evasive phenomenon at our house. Good luck!
he is just too dang cute!! i love the mohawk!
THANK YOU for taking the time to send us pictures of our precious baby. He is so beautiful...and he is growing! He looks a little older and more "present" than a newborn now. And he just gets cuter and cuter, if that is possible. Looks like he' pretty bonded to that daddy. But I know he loves you, too.
He is so adorbale!!
Sorry if this comment is a little long! When we first had Koryn at home I had a hard time getting her to sleep at night. Once I started her on a routine (bath, feeding, story/song, bed) everything started to fall into place. She gets a bath between 8 and 8:30 and is in her crib between 9 and 9:30. At first I had to rock her to sleep, but now I put her in her bed by 9:30 and she'll fall asleep on her own. With the bath, she only gets a full bath every other night and on the other night I just let her splash around. Just the routine of being in the bathtub helps. Nights where there's no bath time are horrible! The main thing is to find a routine that works and really stick to it. He'll start to pick up on it before long. Good luck!
so fun! he's only going to get more and more fun as time goes by. how's the feeding going?
What wonderful pictures! I have such a handsome nephew...those cheeks really are adorable, and even almost cardonesque! he he he. We love him and can't wait to meet him.You know my advice with the sleep! Sometime between 7 and 8 has always been the best time for my kids. You'll do great.
Ah, he's so adorable. You forget how tiny they are when they're newborns! I think he looks a lot like Mike. So fun! Sleeping schedules are tough to figure out at first. It seems like everyone does it differently. I have no advice, sorry. I was never very good at it. Good luck though!
Hey! Colton is so cute! I don't know if it will make you feel better, but the first 3-4 weeks after Andlie was born, I was in shock. :) It's a hard thing - - mommy-ing. :) Anyway, we watched this video called "Happiest Baby on the Block," and it works magic with sleeping and bed time. Andlie sleeps 6-7 hours at night, wakes up to eat, and sleeps for another 3-4. It's awesome. :) Good luck!!
I expected to see "raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens" after that "Favorite Things" title. Well, there are definitely roses...As far as bedtime advice, our kids have always been really good sleepers. Tara put them on a steady routine as soon as they got over the newborn mix-up of days/nights. Bed by 7 p.m., wake up 12 hrs later. See if you can get him to agree to that! *results not typical.
Love your pictures!!! Adorable and next time you go walking call me again and I am so there girl!
He is so handsome! Love the photoshoot pics!
