One week.

It's been one week since my child has gone #2. Poor kid.

Like I've said, eating solids is WAY overrated. I know...gross post. But, I'm concerned.

AND tomorrow he gets his 6 month shots.

Your title put BNL lyrics into my head, and now I'm trying to convert them to your topic.

I'll let you know if I come up with anything funny...pretty tired right now.

Use a suppository like Pedia-Lax for "quick" action and talk to your doctor about getting him on something like Miralax daily. Brigham has the same problem, but hasn't had it since and is MUCH happier now and he can eat all the food he wants too.

I actually think it's normal. Bennett sometimes went several days, and my doctor said as long as he didn't act like he was in pain (fussiness, unusual crying, waking up) then not to worry about it! My nephew went 18 days without pooping once. I never thought a child pooping could bring on such a celebration, but 18 days will do that to you.
This is Heidi by the way.

Poor kid! I freak out if James doesn't go for like 2 days! I am always so happy when he finally poops. I would have never thought I would be happy about a baby pooping! I hope he goes soon!

Yeah, Aaron went through a stage where he was only pooping about once a week. It's only a problem if they are uncomfortable. If they are, try laying off the bananas or adding a little mineral water to their food. I try to avoid using laxatives on a regular basis and just save them for when it's really necessary...that way their bodies can learn to adapt on their own. But that's just me!
