WISH LIST

Here is my wish list for this week:

1) To NOT have to hold my child down by force while nurses/dr. attempt to give him an IV and put him under for his *"Scope". My emotional health cannot handle it anymore.

2) Have the Dr. very clearly and obviously IDENTIFY the problem in Colton's airways.
.
3) Have Dr. present a clear SOLUTION to the problem whether it be surgery or not.

4) FINALLY have an understanding why my child at almost 12 months has practically NO mobility, and find out it was related to his breathing all along! I hope I hope...

5) Have Mike NOT get in a car accident that almost causes our new car to get totaled (yes, this happened last week. He is okay thankfully.)

6) Make something other than cereal or quesadillas for dinner. Man, I was a miserable failure at cooking last week.

7) Manage to work my 4 hours a day, even though Colton is apparently transitioning to ONE 2 hr nap a day instead of 2 2 hour naps. Yeah, the Math doesn't work.

*Colton is getting Brochoscopy or "scope" on Tuesday to check out his airway passages to figure out why he has been breathing irregularly. It involves a tube down his throat with a little camera on the end.

Man. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Good luck on his scope! I hope they find the problem and I hope it's an easy fix! :)

I hope all your wishes come true! Let me know what I can do to help! If you are ever desperate for a break so you can work, bring Colton over my way! Ryan would love to hang out with him for a few hours! :)

Good luck this week!

Sounds like my list. I'm right with you on every point. We surely do love you all.

Colton's list is probably something like: sleep, eat, play (not necessarily in that order). Wouldn't it be nice to be a baby and not always know what's going on?

That is a beautiful picture of a perfectly darling baby, by the way.

Sounds like my list too (especially the dinners part)--and I think it's totally attainable! I keep thinking, "Has feb 2nd come yet?" It seems to be taking forever, but very soon you will have answers. You are awesome! (and that pic of Colton is too cute for words)

A few thoughts:

1.) I totally do cereal and quesadillas when i don't feel like cooking. Literally though, those are always on the back up list. (and the back up list is used quite often).

2.) I'm so sorry that Mike got in a car accident. I hope that everything is okay with him and the car.

3.) GOOD LUCK this week. Anything medical regarding your baby is scary. But watching the whole IV struggle thing would totally put me over the edge. I'm praying and keeping my fingers crossed that things go smoothly!!

Wow, Angela, that list made me teary eyed. Like your mom said, that is our list here as well. We have been constantly thinking about and praying for all of you. Tuesday can't come fast enough. We love you all and wish we could be there physically to support you. Just know that way down here in Texas our thoughts and prayers will definitely be in Las Vegas (particularly on Tuesday morning) with you.

You guys are in our prayers! I to am hoping for some answers for Rory's issues. I hate not having a course of action, a plan, or ANYTHING that will help us move forward from where we are now. Good luck with his scope and I hope that everything goes smoothly and that the results are cut and dry.

And don't feel to bad about the cooking! Since Brady left I haven't actually really cooked except on Sundays. I am planning on doing better this week... lol

Awe, I'm sorry about all of the stress this is causing you! Fin had to get scoped when he was about Colton's age and I almost had a heart attack, but the Doctor's and nurses were so good and sweet I ended up feeling much better once it all started. It goes pretty fast and they try not to keep them under very long, so you're not waiting too long biting your nails off. I'm sure everything will be fine. I hope you get some answers, doll. Hang in there!

Ang, we are all praying for you here. Having done the "hold down the baby thing" more times that I ever want to remember, my heart is totally with you. I would do it for you if I could, and I mean that. Just "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding", as the scripture says, and I promise you all will be well. We love you millions and zillions.
