Reason #4 Why I Want Colton to Walk

This kid gets dirty. I mean REALLY dirty. Vegas ground is very gross since there isn't much rain, and within a few crawls outside...Colton looks like this. You don't even want to see the BOTTOM of his feet after using his walker outside. (love those chubby knees and cankles)
I'm pretty sure his knees are permanently blackened. Hey, at least it gives him a little tanner skin tone :) So, Colton gets a lot of baths these days. (great big white belly, isn't it?)

And just because Colton looks awesome...here is a picture of him in his pool attire.

Side note: It is surprsingly difficult to find sunhats...especially sunhats to fit my child's head which is probably the size of a 3 yr olds :) This one will do.

In Colton's words, "whoa", he does get really DIRTY. That is amazing. I'm confused though, what are reasons 1, 2, and 3?

We went through that same thing with Bennett being such a late walker.

He crawled all around the Washington Monument this summer and was getting so dirty, and bled through his knees in Nauvoo.

The sad news is though, that Jackson still has holes in all of his jeans. So that part won't change!

Those are some pretty cute chubby little legs, even dirty. And, yes, he certainly makes that swim gear look GOOD!

Hooray for dirt, baths, pools and playing! I've always been so excited when my kids walk, too! He's so close.

Love the pool gear--I've had good success with hats at Old Navy, just for future reference :).

That's impressive dirt! It looks like the quantity my kids track in, but our dirt is black. For a while, I had the kids wipe off with baby wipes when they came inside. It is a force to be reckoned with, for sure!
