Prayers Please

I'm in a nightmare that keeps getting worse... My dear Colton has significantly regressed within the past few weeks and now is not able to speak/show social interaction almost whatsoever, and just hops and runs everywhere. He's 2, and 3 weeks ago was talking in sentences, running around like buzz, and giving me hugs like a normal 2 year old. Most likely regressive Autism/Sensory Integrative Disorder.

I feel like I can't breathe and am broken. This is going to be a long road. Prayers would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry, I know you must be very scared not knowing what will happen! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers today - I wish there was more I could do. I don't know if you want to hear this but it always makes me feel better to know that things can always be worse!

a friend of a friend here. i was at byu with you and mike, and i believe we met sometime freshman year. saw ur blog off of andreas and wanted to say something about this.
my sister's son has sensory processing. he is not on the spectrum for autism, but he does have sensory issues. he is 8 years old now and has come leaps and bounds through intervention and different therapies. i already spoke with my sister, and if you'd like to talk to her she is more than willing to refer you to books, etc. that helped them. again, i assume the treatments will be very different as he dealt solely with SPD, but if you'd like to chat with her email me at rebecagiles at gmail
sure hope you get some answers here soon.

Praying for you! The best things you can do for him is early intervention, work with him, support him and most importantly love him :) Good luck!

I've been thinking of you guys and praying for you since you posted this. I hope that you are feeling a little more strengthened and not feeling like you're drowning as much in this new development in your lives. Please post updates on how Colton is doing whenever you're ready- I've been wondering what your family has been doing to provide Colton the best therapy and care that he needs.
